It's that time of year again. The time I force my kids to take back to school pictures. They argue over the outfit I want them to wear. They argue over how I should do their hair. They argue about having to take of the choker that doesn't match the outfit I picked out. And then I get fake smiles for the entire shoot. Am I alone? Anyone else force their children to photograph these memories that they will always look back on and say, "Man, I hated doing these. I can't believe mom made us do it every. single. year.". I hope you all enjoy my cranky kids and their grimaces [insert eye roll].
After saying that, I have to admit, there was one that wanted their photo taken. It's the two year old who I had no intention on taking photos of. Sweet Kennedy. Dirty clothes and face from playing outside all day. In an outfit that she picked out that morning and wild hair that she refused to let me pull back into a ponytail. And for the cherry on top- she dumped water down the front of her 5 minutes before demanding it was her turn.
